Since releasing my last album I’ve realised that the stress and process of making a whole album, sending it out to labels, anxiously waiting for a response, negotiating contracts, dealing with PR and the lengthy time scale between finishing the music and it being released is a major buzz kill. So... I’ve decided go to completely independent and from now on I’m going to release music in a more spontaneous way, most likely monthly or whenever I feel like it.

It’s super inspiring to be working on a piece of music and know that it’s going to be released in the very near future and doesn’t involve all these soul-sapping processes in between finishing it and it being heard.

It feels like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders and my creative process and I couldn’t be more excited to be making music this way again.
